This dude in my area has a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, black/gray 2 tone paint, 5-speed. His mods are Big 16g turbo ported/clipped, evo III manifold, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, boost controller, 5" tach, short shift kit, KYB drag launch suspension, dropped 2", ported/polished head, etc. The bad thing is that it doesn't run, it can but he preferes not to due to a "damaged head gasket." He said all it needs is a new head gasket along with some arp studs (recommended) and it will run just fine, but it's hard to believe. I want to trust him, and I would buy the car, but skepticism keeps me from doing so. He wants $2,400 for the car, included in that deal is the stock 14b turbo and new bushings. He's moving in a few days and in a hurry to sell the car, that could possibly explain the low price if he's being honest. What should I do????? I apologize for not posting in the newbie forum, but it seems like you guys would be able to help me out a little more. I want to find out how to check and see if all that's needed is a head gasket but we can't figure out how to do that (he lives 120mi. away). Please help, any help is greatly appreciated~Brandon.
