What is the easiest way to mount the HKS Super Sequential BOV on a 1g flange without having to weld it on and using the 2g installation kit? Can it be done?

Well, yes it is Possible to do it....but I wouldn't recommend it for long term.

I hate to say it...but a good while back I had my old HKS SS bov RIGGED onto the stock 1G bov flange. I took the bov and used the stock gasket...slapped the BOV onto the flange--lined up nicely....then used a piece of rubber(half of a rubber kitchen lid opener deal--helps you grip)---anyways, I took that rubber piece to have a non slip surface on top of bov, then used TWO large metal hose clamps and put them around the bov/rubber and pipe and clamped that B*tch down....Once they are tightened down very well....the BOV will be stuck on like glue. Mine never moved and never leaked.

However, that is definately a rigged way to do it.

The proper way is to buy the HK$ flange from someplace like(nopi) and then have it welded onto the pipe. That way you can use the standard O ring gasket and locking ring.
