Gas Meter?

Does anyone know if the gas meter on the 1st gen eclipses is wrong? i thought i read once that they were off like that they said they sould say your tank is empty when it really wasnt. is this true?

The gas tank level on any car is inaccurate. They use an electric arm with a bouy on the end the determine the bouyancy f the the thing at the end of it to tell you how much gas you have. when it goes all the way down it says you're empty but in reality the gas tank isnt perfectly shaped so you have at the least half a gallon left. 1st gen eclipses usually have around a gallon or more to spare when they say E.
