can't boost over 13psi

i have a mbc and i can't get my car to boost over 13psi.im running the stock bov but i had been told that it would just leak a little but i would still be able to get to 16psi which is where i want to be. can anybody help?

Have you tried to just turn the boost up?

Do you have all of the vacuum lines or do you have them removed? Try having just 2 lines. One from the turbo outlet nipple to the MBC and one going to the actuator from the MBC. Are you sure the MBC is set up correctly, meaning can you set the boostn lower and hold it at say 9 psi? Mark

if you have a stock 2G plastic BOV you will never hold 16psi...the T-25 cant even hold 15PSI. The T-25 will hold 15psi till ~5500RPM then it will drop to 12PSI to redline. Also when i had my stock 2G BOV it wouldnt even hold 12PSI after 4000RPM.

Yep the stock bov sucks a fat ass. No matter how much I up the boost on mine it stays right at 14psi because of the stock bov. I wouldnt turn it up too high thought. Cause it will read 13 or 14psi but the turbo will still be pushing whatever the boostcontroller is set at. And you dont know how high its set with the bov leaking it all. I can definetly feel the difference in spool up when I crank mine up and I know its higher then 14. But I dont want to kill my turbo. So I say lower it till it gets lower then 13. Then up it a lil bit till it hits 13 again and leave it. Also if you have the turbo trying to push like 20 psi and its all leaking out of the bov. The MAF is reading a lot of air that is just being recirculated and will result in a rich condition.
