My $25 intercooler...trash it or use?

Hey guys
I just got an intercooler core off of a guy I met locally who junks cars. I still am running my SMIC, and i don't know what to do with this one. I dont know if its decent enough or if i should just sell it. ( i know i could sell it more then $25 on ebay ) Its a bar and plate core, but weird dimensions, its really long (37") and not very tall (6") . I can fit it in the car, i already took the bumper off and messed around to even see. I just didnt know what the disadvantage/(advantage? ) of core shapes are. I wanted a 3" thick core originally but for $25 if this is decent i will use it for a while haha. I know I dont have flow rates for it, but I wondered if the long-style intercooler is worse for flow then a shorter, taller and thicker core?? I just have the funny feeling i'll be selling it on ebay or something, and saving up for a better one haha Thanks

it can still help i mean what can it hurt to put on a bigger interfooler.....i would say go for it then sell it when something better comes along

I say go for it. That would definitely be better than stock. Make sure its cleaned before you put it on though (no telling how much sludge has accumulated in there over the years)

i say no.. unless you want the bling bling look.. the stock SMIC is fine if your'e running < 17 psi ; no reason to fab up something for little to no gains
