Hard boost surge?

I recently went to a 1G crushed BOV venting to the atmosphere and since then I have noticed that my throttle response is better however, when I'm at high RPM's and I let off of the gas the car surges really bad... And it doesn't happen all the time either...Please help.

Oh god, another venting thread. There are about 10,000 of them on this board where everybody beats up on the guy who says he is venting.

Basically the point is you can not vent. Just put it back in the intake and be done with it.

I did a search on boost surge and it revealed nothing....I had a hunch it could be the fact that I was venting but I found no concrete evidence linked to boost surging. The only reason I linked it to my venting was because it was the last thing I did to the car. In conclusion I closed the system and it did indeed fix the problem...Thanks for the help.
