small 16g how fast does it spool???

hey how fast does a small 16g with the stock 2g intercooler spools up or how fast does yours spool up and what mods do you have?

When I had my s16g on with stock side mount + stock exhaust. I was getting full boost in 3rd gear by like ~3800rpm. But I have a front mount and just put on my 3" turboback last weekend and I haven't really checked when I get full boost by yet. I'll let you know this weekend. I'm expecting 3400rpm or maybe a little bit less.

My small 16 is ported to hell and back. With exhaust and still on the SMIC I would hit 16 psi at 3k, now with my FMIC I hit 19 at around 3100-3200.

but at what rpms do you guys start building boost like @2400rpms or higher or maybe lower my car is an auto so i need to know how fast does the turbo spools up

I know its not a s16g, but my b16g reaches 15psi at 2800rpms. Its ported and clipped with a 34mm wastegate. I would expect a s16g to spool a little faster...

What are you talking about? 5th gear? Hell I can build 14lbs of boost at 2400rpm if you are. Generally, when people ask what RPM range it takes to build full boost, its on 3rd gear. And I don't think a B16g will achieve full boost by 2800 (3rd). Even the T25 has a hard time getting full boost by 2800.

The turbo starts building boost at like 2300-2400 and hits hard at a hair over 3k.

come down to md and Ill show you, and I never said 5th gear please read my post correct. In 3rd gear(I didnt specify sorry, but I didnt say 5th) I reach 15psi at around 2800. Its going so fast that by the time my eyes go from the boost gauge to the tach I probly missed a few rpms. Oh and my t25 reached, with these mods, full boost 15psi as soon as I smashed the throttle down. My b16g starts boosting when I press the gas, but is very linear, though fast. If you want proof come down here and Ill show you

I've rode with DSMeclipse4g63 and it does spool very quick. He's got everything ported which problaby helps a bit.

my t-25 builds 16psi at like 2,300 no prolem in third.
