hey guys
I just got my new bov installed with a dejon uicp. It sounds great but I'm having a few problems.
1. The bov will always flutter no matter what. I had it set so it would only flutter at like 2 or 3 psi but i just loosened it so i don't damage anything until I find out for sure. My question is someone(i think it was batmangsx) on here said that if you connect the lower nipple it gets rid of the fluttering and the valve opens quicker. I looked on the vfaq but i didn't understand what they meant by "the smaller nipple may be spliced into the turbo outlet pipe or into the line between the turbo and wastgate actuator." I know where the WG actuator is but where do i tee in? there is a little hose going from the WG actuator that tees into a line just below it which looks like it goes from the turbo compressor housing to what i think is the stock boost control.( its the thing where one of the vacuum lines also goes to the intake on the side closest to the bumper)
Is this where I tee in and will it help my fluttering at all?
2. When I installed my bov and uicp the bov is now angled towards the intake. I really can't adjust it at all and it doesn't seem to affect anything but my recirc hose was getting a little kinked. I cut it so it does not kink but now it pops off from time to time. Should i just get a radiator hose from napa or does anyone have another recommendation?
Other than that it performs great, pretty big increase in power. The boost shot up to 15 psi also. Is this safe for the stock fuel system? I'm gonna finish building my boost controller tommorrow to turn it down to 14 just in case.
Sorry for the long post but i just want to make sure its running right
Thanks
