Alright I just bought a 1990 Laser FWD with a motor that was rebuilt in 2000 then driven very little so it runs like a champ and the 14b was rebuilt as well. My plans are to get about as much as I can on the 14b and then move up to a 50 or 60 trim monster but right now I'm just trying to get all my first mods done so I can start making the most of what I've got. First I'm gonna clean off the sidemount and check all the hoses. I've already got a MBC and a gauge and I'm running 15PSI with the stock fuel pump and no rewire. I've also removed the lower honeycomb and cut open the airbox. I think my next mod will be a Punishment 2.5" downpipe and a a full 2.5" no cat exhaust. After that I plan on buying a fuel pump, injectors, and an AFC at the same time and installing it all. Does this sound like the best way to make the most out of my money or do you guys have any suggestions? I'm also more familiar with the 1991+ DSM's and I know the 1989-90's were a little what are the important differences that I should know?
Thanks Guys!
