Turbo @ BOV questions???

Can't figure out why my crused 1g BOV isn't holding sufficient boost. I have crushed the BOV, but the boost still backs off to 12-14#s. WHY???
How much boost will the T25 support? Can i run 18#s with out fuel upgrades??? guel pump and injectors are coming soon, along with a bigger turbo. I am just frustrated with what turbo i want to go with. please help guys. Thanx.

If it helps, my goal is low 12s. I have an auto trans, with no stall. Not easy to find a local guy to put in a stall for a reasonable price, so the stall will have to wait. Right now I just foot brake it on the line and spray a 65 shot out of the hole, to clear up the lag. I got some low 1.9 60's set @ 12#s. I want to be quicker for now, without risking the motor.

Did you crush the bov or did you get it crushed. It could be crushed to far and leaking. A t25 is useless over 17psi and inefficient and basicaly nothing more than a hairdryer.

Crushed it myself with a bench vice. Tried it 3 times before I didn't wnat to go any further. I'm not sure on how far they need to be crushed. I started by barely moving the top down into the cover. Put the BOV back on no better results. Took it off, cushed it a little more. The pressure tube was half way down then. Drove around some more, still not holding more boost. Crushed a little more. Now the pressure tube is touching the BOV housing. Drove it again, still not holding more boost. Good thing is, I have an extra 1g BOV. In case this one is FUBARed.

Have you done a leak test on your intake tract yet? It sounds like you may have a boost leak somewhere.

No leak down test yet. I have checked the intake tubing of leaks, I can't feel any excess air coming out though. I'm really not too worried about it, because I'm not planning to keep this setup for too much longer. Pretty soon, the bigger turbo, front mount IC, EBC and other supporting mods will be on the way.
What's your take on the BOV though. U think I have it crushed too much or not enough???
