Where on UIC pipe to weld HKS SSQV?

I just purchased an HKS SSQV and I'm planning on ordering an UIC pipe with no flange. I was wondering where should I weld the flange? I have a 1G non ABS w/ cruise control. I've seen some setups where its set upside down and parallel to the pipe, but is that the only position? If any of you have any pics that would be great! Thanks!

i also have the hks bov and i have greddy uicp. i had a guy hack off the greddy flange and weld a hks flange on to the piping. my piping isnt upside down either its right side up btw.

I'd rather have mine setup like that to where its upwards so everyone can see . You wouldn't happen to have a pic would u?

This is a buschur pipe that had a 1G flange on it. I cut the flange off and welded the hks flange in the same spot.
