Alright guys ive been reading around the 1gin2g info but I have two questions.

1. To mate the 2g head to the 6bolt, is it a direct drop in or are their any modifications that need to be done?

2. I have a 1g CAS and im going to the buy the RRE wiring harness for it, but how do i install the CAS on my 95 2g head, im really confused.

Almost done with my 6bolt drop in and im confused about this :|

u have the drill out the holes for the head bolts becasue the 1g ones are larger, the cas will bolt up fine and your prob goin to wanna use a 2g intake manifold cuz a 1g intake will b to large for the 2g ports.

do you know the specifications of how much you have to drill out? i need to know so i could tell my machinist :)

Also, im sticking with the 2g head because i believe it can make more horsepower then the 1g but not in stock form of course :)

if using 6 bolt arp head studs you must machine the holes from 11mm to 12mm. The machinist might ask you to bring in the arp headstuds.

This is true. Not many people are keen on this fact. ;)

But are you using it to its full potential or is it down the road?

A 1G head can be had for CHEAP, and if you are going to take a long time to save the money for the PROPER machining, go for a 1G and sell it later. :thumb:
