Ok the reason for me getting the 2.5" is im not upgrading the turbo anytime soon.. and i know i will want to but i really dont care. Right now i want cat-back exhuast that is 2.5" I want the exhuast in either HKS, Greddy, Apexi, or Blitz. I get deals on these products.

So at the top of the list are Apexi WS but i dont know if it comes in 2.5"
second would be HKS Hyper but again dont know if it comes in 2.5"

So here are my questons what 2.5" exhuast are out there from these manufacturs?? and if these 2 i said above come in 2.5"?

thanks

Even if you are not upgrading the turbo soon you should still get a 3inch exhaust

Alright. All this "you need 3" exhaust" is getting a bit old. 2.5" is proven deep into the 11's so would you guys please tell me why he "needs 3'' exhaust" or anybody else that doesn't plan on running better than 11's for that matter?

Well I can say in my partcular instance swtiching from a EVO3 O2 housing,2.5inch DP and 2.5inch cat-back. To a 3inch O2 elim DP and 3inch cat-back increased spoolup of my turbo and overall power. I can't back it up with times but I my case I felt a power increase

Hey rippin Illmake sense of it for you:cool: Its a known fact that no exhaust is the best exhaust correct? So for that matter a 3" is better than a 2.5" right? I understand that some people dont need a 3" for what they are doing, but a 3" never the less is better than a 2.5"...
Just because a 2.5" had been deep into the elevens doesnt mean that they hold up there. Its obvious that whoever is running 11's with a 2.5" could be making more power if they had a 3"...why? Because a 3" is better! If you can get to 11's with a 2.5" wouldnt it be a bit easier to get there with a 3"... Im sure someone could maybe run a 10 with a 2.5 inch if they wanted to, but that doesnt mean that everyone shouldnt get a 3" unless they plan on going faster than 10's. It just makes sense in every form or fashion, unless an exhaust is the only mpd youll ever get (Id still get a 3"), then maybe a 2.5" is ok. IMO and most other wisemen and nonwiseman agree that a 3" should be the first and last exhaust as so it dont hurt your wallet later on when you realize you shouldve went 3". :thumb:

Just because 2.5" is good for 11s doesn't mean that you won't benefit from it until you run 11s. You can see gains over the 2.5" well before 11s. Everyone knows bigger is better on turbo exhaust. The turbo provides all the back pressure you need. When 3" is only a little bit more than 2.5" Why not just do it right the first time. People always say that they won't be modding enough to need 3" but speed is addicting and most people always want to go faster. Regardless people say there 2.5" is good but they really know 3" would better. I just believe in doing right the first even more so in this case because the price differnce is small. It definitly won't hurt you yo have 3" pipe. That's my opinion.

Alright guys. I by no means am a newbie and don't need basic knowledge explained to me and I'm sure John will back that up ;) My point was, you don't NEED 3" exhaust. If your running a monster turbo and are looking for 11's or 10's then I agree but other than that you don't need it.

True on a smaller turbo you could get away with a 2.5. But It's say anything bigger than a big16G would benefit from a 3inch.

You know I agree John ;) I think "benefit" is the key word here.

How do you like it?

Yes I did. I love it. it's only one peice so it's a pain if you even have to remove the DP but that's a minor complaint.
