Hey all. I was helping a friend with his AWD TSI. He was having a massive stutter when at 100% throttle. He has a ported 14b, supra side mount, intake, and I forget the other mods. When the car was at idle the was a weird clicking sound under the hood. I isolated the noise to the stock FPR. When I pinched off the vacuum line to the FPR it stopped the clicking noise. Would this mean that his FPR is shot and causing the stutter/backfire?

Thanks for the input

the only way of knowing that is to check the fuel pressure, which should be at 42-43psi. Do you have a logger? what are the fuel trims, timing looking at under WOT? There could be a millon things going on that would cause this. Did this just start after the mods?

List of things to check:
1. Boost leaks, vacuum leaks
2. plugs, wires
3. fuel filter
