I remembee someone saying that when it opened up, the guy next to him racing pulled over and though there was something wrong with his car.

Thats what I want:thumb: thanks alot for the help just wanted to know before I bought one.

has any one tried this o2 dump from www.turbo-performance.com ??

Twitch my friend is runing that on his 95 fp28 gst. It sounds nice and looks nice (it was chrome) can u give me a direct link to o2 dump? I cant seem to get on thier site..

i have the turboperformance.com o2 housing on my car. it works fine, and i dont hear it being loud like everyone says, but i thought that maybe because im at like 5000 ft elevation, that had something to do with it. there are no studs in this one to go into the downpipe like the stock one, so youre going to have to put some bolts in yourself. i bought carraige bolts from a local hardware store, and it works fine. overall, a good product

I just walked in from putting on a 3"downpipe with external dump. I took it for a ride and i can fell that it pulls alot nicer...the only thing i was a little dissapointed by was the sound i thought it was going to EXPLODE as i began to hit boost it's louder but nothing that draws tons of attention.:thumb:

IMHO dumps sound cooler than loud BOV's! ;)

Can't remember where a buddy of mine got his dump from (think it was www.ffwdconnection.com.) It's a ported 1G 02 housing with a dumptube welded on. The thing I liked the most about it was the dumptube was long and shot the exhaust away from the motor, while, at the same time, it was out of the way of the oil filter.

I was just wondering if the O2 Sensor Housings just bolts onto your exaust or what do u need to do to make it work. I am really new at working on my 94 TSi engine. I have read about not being able to vent to the atm so the next best thing seems to be this O2 Sensor Housings . I was wondering if anyone could explain a little bit more on how this work. I would greatly apricate it.

It bolts directly onto your turbo. If you look at the lower heatshield you can see where this piece is, just follow the o2 sensor wire.
You can install them without removing the turbo with the right tools.

You need an aftermarket downpipe and catback first.

How big is that? It doesn't even appear to be 2.5".

Oh yeah. Where in the fu@k is the oxygen sensor supposed to go? Hmmm. Turbo Performance is supposed to be pretty shitty. I'd go elsewhere.

I think ive seen that one on this 95 gst I saw the other day. It is small and looks like crap in real life. I think its only like 2.25", and the o2 sensor bung is kinds hidden underneath the dump tube...Id look elsewhere if I were you

Didn't even notice that. No O2 sensor hole ?????? That's not good.

there is a o2 sensor bung look close its between the two tubes. Im going to e-mail them and ask about the size, ill let everyone know

I really like the sound of the blow off valve, but right now i don't have the $ to buy a stand alon fuel manegment system so i can vent to the atm. Will adding this O2 housing give me a sound equivalant to a blow off. I know people have said they are loud enough to scare children, but really compaired to a blow off valve is it really that loud. If any one could answer this i would really apricate it. Thanks

Is it legal? No!! It routes anything dumped out the wastegate to the atmosphere rather than back into the exhaust. Less restriction equals a better ability to get rid of the excess exhaust gas in turn eliminating boost creep in most cases.
