I am not quite sure how I am supposed to attach the HKS Valve to HKS
flange. When I bought the valve it came witha c-clip and the directions say to just attach the valve to the flange utilizing the c-clip. I dont see how the clip is going to hold the valve to the flange securely. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

slide the clip around the base of the bov.

now squeeze it together.

now slide the bov and the clip into the flange. once the bov is seated slowly release the clip to squezze the bov in there.

first make sure you have some snap ring (c-clip) pliers. if you don't dont even try installing it. but just follow wat was said above.

yes the c-clip securely holds the bov in place. make sure you dont forget to put in the o-ring. just for the record i also put a lil rtv so thers no leaks or anything.

good luck, youll love the bov.

you'll need a pretty sturdy set. i got a real nice pair of craftsman pliers from SEARS that have interchangeable ends on it. they worked great for me.

i got mines from NAPA, the big ones for about $28 i think i spent 15min to get this c-clip inside..LOL.....

good luck

i think mine from sears were only $20. and i spent 30 minutes trying to get it on before i removed the outer "shell" and then it took me like 2 tries.

I bought the same $20 one's from sears (changable tips). Took 15 minutes and help from one other person to put on. The tips on the pliers were starting to face opposite ways when i finally put it in. Take of the top casing of the bov too (4 hex screws), just like everyone else says, it'll be easier to squeeze that bastardly c-clip in.
