Break it down

Ok, my engine just bit the dust due to timing failure. As I look at my options I can rebuild the same engine or buy a jdm. The only thing I'm worried about is how hard is it to swap in the jdm engine? If some one could give me a basic break down of difficulty it would be helpfull.

I am doing a JDM 6olt in a 2g swap. For A 1g I would imagine it would be pretty easy. You could just swap over things like your thermostat housing, intake manifold, oil filter housing etc and just drop it in. Short of it obviously being a bit of a PITA to be pulling engines and whatnot in the first place I bet it would be pretty easy.
