crankshaft oil galleries

This is not really a performance mod, but after getting my crank reground and shot peened (bad bearing disaster) they removed the plugs at the end of the oil galleries. I need to know how to block the galleries off so i don't lose oil pressure. i can't tap it and put a cap in it cause i can drill into forged steel. the only option i can think of is welding but i don't have a welder. would like JB weld hold? if anyone knows what i am talking about it would help out greatly. thanks

I know this may seem silly, but why don't you ASK them to put those bad boys back in there?

well i got it peened like a month ago, and i think they distroy them when the remove them.

Put in new balls, then punch with block with a blunt chisel to retain them. Mitsu should have a part number for them. If they don't Hyundai does, there was a hyundai tsb on doing that in the early 90s.
Did you get the mains nitrided after turning and before polishing? Did they make the filet radius as large or larger than oe? If you answered no to either of those it's garbage now.

what needs to be done when you cut the crank? cuz my spare crank i have had bad bearings as well and it needs to be cut as well

If they are just holes for the oil galley, you should be able to measure them with a micrometer and then buy freeze plugs to fit... I don't know how a 4g63 block looks but on other engines I've rebuilt that's what I've done unless it had threads, then you get a threaded plug.
