Oh man.... Trying for a turbo here.

Ok, I've tried yahoo chat rooms, and got nothing of any help, so I figured I'd go to a dsm website, where people actually know what they're talking about.

I own a 1992 laser non-turbo 2.0 standard.

I like it, and I dont want to trade it in for a dsm turbo.

Ok, So i want this car to be a lot faster, and a turbo is the way to go right? Well, I'm not exactly loaded so i can't shell out grand after grand to buy a brand new turbo system.

Is it possible to go on, say ebay, and buy all the parts nessicary for a turbo, and have them professionally installed in my car? If so, can someone give me a list of parts? If not, can you make any other suggestions?

I'm only 17, and I'm slightly car illiterate, so sorry if I'm asking any obvious questions. Thankyou in advance.

Find a wrecked turbo car and get all the parts off of it that you need.

TURBO exhaust manifold
Intercooler
Downpipe
Intercooler piping
boost controller
boost gauge
probably a fuel pressure regulator for a turbo dsm
450cc injectors
and a chiltons manual

hope that helps...its all I can think of.

find wrecked one, best bet.

i'm pretty sure you would need an ECU too, not sure tho.

Definetly buy a wrecked turbo car thats the way to go
