input on ebay downpipe?

i've been thinking about upgrading to a 3" downpipe and i was just wondering how the ebay downpipes perform?

Don't buy the ERZ brands as I heard they are poorly designed and don't even fit our cars. However, the Megan Racing downpipes are actually very good and at an amazing price. I have one on my car and it sounds good and looks good too. So go for Megan Racing if you can.

The problem with some of those ebay downpipes are that the flex sections are too small. This will make the welds eventually break on the downnpipe causing it to leak in a short period of time. So if you can find a downpipe that fits well and has a large flex section it would be a good buy. I have a downpipe from www.exhaustdepot.com and never had a single problem with it.

I also have this downpipe, mated to an ATR 3-inch catback. Awesome, especially for the price. Easily rivals the ebay stuffs, and the T304 steel they use is the exact same as ATR's.

Please do not get the ERZ/Ebay downpipe, you will regret it, I know I bought one a few weeks ago, the fitting would not bolt up the my exhaust ,I had to have it cut,moved about 2 inches and re welded at the cost of $60 bucks and a big fat headache, I wish I had spent the money on a good one in the first place.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I just recieved my megan racin downpipe...and wow great quality, welds and overall workmanship. took me by my self 20 mins from start to finish to install it in front of my house, and everything fit PERFECTLY. The inlet is 2.5 and they say the outlet is 2.5 but mine measured well over 2 3/4in. The gains were very noticable, and I saw that people were complaining abou t thier gaskets I have som pics of my old megan racing gaskets that have about 20k on them, just let me know
