1G Boost Problems

Ive been looking into boost spike and creep issues but havent come across my problem yet. My issue is that when i down shift or launch is when i get the boost spike to 18/19 then it settles to 16. When i tune i do a 3rd gear pull from 3k in 3rd, which never spikes or creeps. I have a dump tube to help eliminate the problem but its still there probably because of my 3" exhaust. Any suggestions and if anyone knew of a picuture of a 14b where you could point out what part to port so the wastegate flows better that'd be awesome. Thanx.

if you have a stock O2 housing still that would be your problem. put a EVOIII O2 housing on that should get rid of of the problem.
