What are some good things to remove out of a 2G GST that could reduce weight like AC compressor etc.?

That would be nice. Get some rac seats, definately lighter than leather and cloth.Correct! If that's all your planning on removing then yes it isn't going to help much. But just removing the back seat and back rests isn't exactly what I would call totally gutting the car either. Every little bit helps though if your into speed. It's a rule of thumb that every 100lbs that you remove from your car will take a tenth off of your 1/4 mile time, and 1 tenth is a car length. Removing weight from a rotating mass such as wheel and tire combo will help even more. If you drive a Honda then you should already know this, because most Hondas that I have seen that are fast are usually gutted. Not all but most.Originally posted by Pennywise
so all together the backseats weigh 25 pounds. damn I was going to gut the car but 25 pounds is nothing.
