I need some fuel manegment. What has been your experience with the 3.5" gm mas with the translator? Will this alone help my "running too rich" problem with 550cc injectors? Would an apexi safc be a better rought to take. Or if you recommend both, which one first?
Thanks-

why buy the maf and the translator at all? What turbo are you running? Chances are you aren't outflowing the stock MAS yet and if you aren't looking to vent your bov then just get an safc and call it a day.

if you're looking to vent you're BOV, then do not just get the SAFC. It can get it to idle correctly, but can't handle fixing the mixture when you let of the gas.
The new GM mas and translator is a lot more exact in the alterations to what the ECU sees, and you might be able to tune it well with just that. (note, the older translator wasn't as exact - if you search, you'll see topics relating to this very subject).
Also, it is set up to work without a blow through setup, if that is your goal. Eitherway, i think you'd be happy with just the mas and maft. After that, if you are getting a lot more serious about tuning (and the hp you're putting down) then look more at dsmlink. (please don't fill this thread off topic "safc vs. dsmlink" crap - it was just a suggestion).
