Ok ive been reading and have developed a few questions. The gm mas what exactly does it do and does it really allow for venting or is this a bunch of b/s. Reason I ask is because i was looking to buy an injen intake :thumb: for my car but read somewhere that if i bought the gm mas that venting is possible w out all the h/s side effects. Anyone have this or know about it.
ps. sorry I know this subject is beaten to death but couldnt find any good threds on it!

Yes, with the GM MAF and translator you can put it between your BOV and throttle body in "Blow Through" configuration and vent your BOV. Since it is after the BOV the maf will not mis-read the incoming air allowing you to "vent" the bov into the atmosphere.

I dont recomend the injen intake, i've seen it on 2g owners i know.

For an intake setup on a 2g i recomend a k&n cone filter, combo'd with the dejon tool hard intake piping.

yea the injen is crap. I had it on my car .. looked too "bling", gave absolutely 0 gains, and cost too much money. Just get the K&N cone filter, and the angle piece that you can combine with your stock piping and that's all you need. Injen is not worth it imo.

Another ?? is the gm maf and the translator a plug n go or do I need to do some splicing.
ps. Ive hear the injen was :thumb: now im confused you guys didnt like it because it was shitty h/p wis or the looks of it. Im looking for the h/p myself and want to splurge once if you know what I mean. ;) any suggestions
