Well i have a 14b in my car currently running at 16psi, i am doing constant 97-98mph traps, my best 1/4 was 14.8 with 2.5 on 60ft

I can get a 16g regular for $100(after i sell my 14b)

I will be running the 16g without inyectors for a good while since an S-AFC is needed for this and that's more money.

My question is:
Will the 16g perform better than the 14b now?
Considering it will be run at whatever safe psi is able to run on a 190lph and stock inyectors.

Thanks

well by lookin at your mod list i wouldnt waste to much on upgrading the turbo or your injectors before i got IC piping, a downpipe + cat back exhaust, a MBC or a avcr, and so on a boost gauge and blah blah dont just smack a 16 g on a car with no way of controlling it.or hit the search butten there has been like 500 threads 14bvs16g threads everywhere

my bad, i have 3" turbo-back, uicp+ 1g BOV, intake pipe, boost gauge, MBC

I know your a 2nd Gen FWD, but look up these guys:

GRNDSM<---11's with 14b

ArcticTSi<----LOW 12's on 14b

Phil Beers<---Original Low 12's on 14b

The FourteenBeezey makes good power, theres no doubt about that. The common denominator between those guys is "Supporting Mods". Get a huge front mount, and then a data logger. This will determine how much more boost you can safely run before wasting mod money on parts too earley in the game.

Why have a slow 16g car, when you can have a FMIC'ed 14b car that will eat a 16g car?

Just something to consider, its all about Turbo support!

p.s. Ahhh, Oh yeah, you might want to get some good tires to get those 2.5 60' into the 2.0 1.9 range where they belong! This will help your ET more than anything!
