2g Crank Sensor on 1g 7-bolt?

As the title implies. Can a 2g crank sensor be used on a 1g 7 bolt bottom end?

No. Not without a lot of welding, grinding and drilling.

I thought the 1g 7bolt blocks have a provision in them for the 2g crank sensor?

Either way, just eliminate it by wiring up a 1g CAS on the head. Or are you using a 95-96 head and trying to avoid all th work with that?

Yes.
