Which Intake?

Which intake do you guys have on your cars, and do you like it and if not which would you like to have on your car?

I have a 35 dollar cone filter and a 3inch intake pipe I painted blue which was free(Thanks Kevin). I wouldn't want any other intake

Ack... foam sucks in the desert! Doesn't filter out enough fine dust -- yes this is proven.


EDIT: Actually if you oil them a few times a week if your in the desert you'll be fine.

I know lots of guys who don't run filters at all on the street. Get a VPC and leave the turbo open. A friend of mine with an 11 second civic has done this for 3 years now and no problems and he street races like crazy.

I just change the filter every year, it's been fine. I don't use K&N filters because they do not have a velocity stack built in them.

That's just plain stupid unless you only use the car for that reason and it's not a daily driver like most of these cars are.

I bought the K&N FIPK and i am very happy with it. It looks good, does it's job well and sounds pretty cool too. I'm gonna get the dejontool lower intake piece to replace the factory plastic.

any intake you get you'd really be happy with..

I had Injen intake and loved it.. Then I upgraded to the Dejon tool 3" intake becuase of the larger turbo and I love it too

I have a K&N cone, but got probs . I need the adapter from the cone to attach to the MAS. Ya know the cone is round and the bolts are in a square formation. Went to the local rice shop and they said i had to buy a $170 "special" kit for my car. Anyone got any ideas??? Thx

Those adapters can be had for pretty cheap. www.procarparts.com has them for about $25 and Extreme Motorsports has a better quality one for $60.

I didn't think Dejon made those. They have a Lexan plate to mount to the 2G MAS, but it looks to be made for a 1G car. Would that still work?
