If anyone out there has a fp big t28 can you please let me know some times your running? what psi? mods? and what car 1G/2G awd/fwd? thanks. because I have a 2G awd, I just ordered the turbo and I was wondering what its performance is like, under what mods and boost thanks alot

I don't have this turbo, so I'm not giong to comment on performance #'s

You might want to check out www.dsmtimes.org -- it has a list of people's times with a list of the turbo's they used to acheive those times.

I would think with BPU's and decent driving that there is no reason why you wouldn't be in the 12's with the boost turned. Low 12's if you run race gas and really crank up the boost. I know Larry D trapped 109 on race gas as a FWD. That's a 12 sec trap speed if he was AWD. I trapped 80 in the 1/8th of pump gas and 17-18lbs of boost with no fuel maps or timing advance. If your not looking for Mad power as a 2G, this is the turbo for you.

exactly.. i ran 13.7 @ 109 only my 2nd time out in my FWD at 20lbs on the Big28 on C16.. I was really rich at the time as well... In AWD Im sure high 12s shouldnt be much of a problem.

You may also want to check out the times list over at dsmtalk.com. They have it located in the race forums. There is a guy that goes by "Hor" that has run a 12.4 @ 108 in his 2g awd on race gas. I love that 108 trap in an awd with the Big28. That means a fwd 2g should atleast be good for 110 or 111 traps on race gas, since a fwd usually traps a few mph more than an awd. I think he was running about 20 to 22 psi of boost if I'm not mistaken.

I don't have the turbo myself, but a few people I know have it, One has ran a 13.0,not sure what MPH, and another just had it installed and has yet to run at the track. From what I have seen they are good turbos if you have a good setup. Another friend has ran a [email protected] with just a T28. He got his before the Big T28 was released. He is AWD, and was boosting 20PSI and on race gas. 4225 Actual 4400 NHRA Factor 7,000-11,000 Corrected Elevation, in Utah

i ran 14.4---95mph with my current mods(click on my username). boost @15psi, shifting gear @5500rpm. i was taking a precaution coz i broke one of my iridium plugs electrode(just a bit). good thing i did not blow my car into pieces. now i got the Ngk 6's plug, man they r great and cheap! so, i could have done better, but shiot happens(excuses--:p ). ..overall?......i love the Big28!
