Small question...Ok this my seem a little umm....retarded but hey I better ask. Spal fans...I want get one so when I get my FMIC it will counteract a little bit of the overheating. Now which one to get:confused: 12" is pretty much what I've decided (but of course if u have a reason why I shouldn't go ahead). Now what's the deal with the curved or straight blade and push or pull? I'm prob gonna get laughed at but at least I'll know.

Did you get rid of your stock fans? Or are you going to mount this as a pusher fan infront of the AC Condensor?

This is were I get confused:confused: I'm new to DSM's so I'm looking for suggestions on what has worked well for others. I just dont want to buy something that wont be the best... YOu've most likly seen my FMIC question...I just want to see what gives the best results

If you can keep your stock fans... DO..

If you have an overheating problem with the fmic and stock fans, only as a last resort mount a pusher fan ontop of the AC Condensor -- that'll help out in extreme circumstances.

But before going that route, if you do have problems, make sure that your cooling system is at 100% of it's capabilties.

I'll add some comments that I know to be true:

1) Nothing cools as well as your stock fans, if you can keep them [ie.
fittment issues] do so as the shear fan depth moves more air than
any other aftermarket fan - regardless of the cfm rating.

2) If cooling is an issue w/ or w/o stock fans ... these aftermarket fans
can act as additional cooling aid as a pusher fan to help move air
through your condenser.

And lastly, do as Rob says...

Is there anyone who is currently using Slim line fans with a large turbo who can tell us what size and depth, also CFM... that they are using?

There is no possible way that my Drivers side fan is going to fit with the dump tube coming off of the FP-3055. What can I use instead of the stock fan?

im running a slim 11" SPAL fan on the drivers side because of the fitment issues, and i do have a pusher fan infront of the ac condensor, plus the JEG's thermometer fan control kit, to keep them the right temprature. The cfm rating is 800, they make a 1350 cfm fan, but its not need, plus its fookin annoying and way too loud
