Ok, i am currently using an afc to tune my car
I have to go in for slight warranty work(none engine related) but want to get the afc out of the way anyways.
QUestion is, can i unplug it at the harness(goes from AFC to the wirring on the ECU)????
If i unplug that harness will everything be ok? Will it go back to stock settings? Keep afc settings? Not even run? Throw CEL?
The only wire that was actually modified was the airflow sensor, that had to be cut and wired through the afc, the other ones are just tapped for signal
So can i just unplug the afc harness and pull the afc out?
Or do i just have to hide it in the center consol somewhere,
....
Again, this isnt engine work so they wont even be looking or thinking about it, im going in for sunroof, door handle broken, antenna, and the clutch slave cylinder which is leaking, and maybe have them look into the valvetrain ticking noise on startup to see if they can fix that.
Let me know guys
