i know this a newbie question, but i need some help. there is some kind of sensor on the 1g intake box. when installing a aftermarket intake, what is to be done with this? recommended intakes for n/t?

im not too sure but i think that you keep the lid of the intake box on, and you will get a filter adapter that will allow you to clamp the filter onto the lid. the only intake i know of for our 1g's is from injen.

thats your MAF sensor, that whole part bolts up to your new intake pipe, you need it or the car will run like crap, its just gonna bolt up to the aftermarket one just like the stock one but without the canister
