Top end swap

swaping a 97 turbo head,manifold,throttle body with 94 n/t same as other... my question being what would be the best working combo of these 2 to include cams, cam sensor also i already to know to switch the tb elbows

Your cam sensor will already work, you need a 1G water pipe and water neck as well... Use the Turbo 1G Exhaust cam and the 2G intake cam. I just did this swap last weekend but used a turbo head instead of a non-turbo.

did you feel a any gain from the head swap? I have a 1g intake mani and would love to switch over to a 1g head on my 2g bottom end.

I haven't gone WOT yet or tuned with the DSMLink either but it seems very similar to my 2G head at 15psi... I am still on the stock SMIC, but I will let you know when I get it tuned...

i dont have any 1g turbo cams, its a n/t, also any need to knows on the vacuum hookup on the tb and anywhere else that might change
