What makes a joe p style boost controller not work? I know i have it tapped in the right spots and have tried switching the hoses on the boost controller and it still keeps the factory boost. Also, is there suppesed to be a tiny hole on the back of the controller, it leaks air.
thank
bryan

Yes, the hole should be there..... did you bypass the stock BCS? (I know you said you have it wired right, just checking).... going from BOV line to wastegate -- the side of the controller with the hole is the side that goes to the wastegate.

How far have you screwed it in without boost going up?

Yeah, i have it hooked up like in the picture, except the tapped in the wastegate line where the factory controller was, in the T coming off of the wastegate.

I guess i havent tried opening it all the way, do you have to? I though a little adjustments went a long way

that should say , I tapped in to the wastegate line at the factory T fitting.

Do you get more boost with it screwed shut or all the way open.

Sorry if I sound stupid, I bought it off ebay and didnt get any instructions

thanks for the help
bryan

screw it in, and you will have more boost, screw it out and you will have less..... thats how my hallman mbc works
