Quick MAFT wiring install question

I was just reading through the installation instructions for my maft. I says to tap the white wire into an rpm signal and plug the other wires into the stock wiring harness. But, I have a single purple wire that I don't know where it goes. Any help? I also read this http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99455 but I didn't read anything about a purple wire. The only link to the maft install on vfaq is broken.

That is supposed to be extra I believe that it is for using nitris.
