dyno results for the itsy bitsy spyder

dyno results from this past saturday at speed injected. lovely weather (92 degrees... felt like 57758). 14b@10psi. creeps to 14-15psi around 6000rpm. stock sidemount, stock fuel system. other mods: 3" RnR o2 eliminator downpipe, 3" test pipe, Tanabe Racing Medallion, 2.5" UICP, HKS SSQV, K&N FIPK, Dejon 2.75" intake pipe, webcams street grind (yes, they do work. yes, i only spent $400 on them. no, i never had to "dial them in". no, they haven't "dog earred" after 12k miles). 3rd gear (blue) held 10psi pretty much the entire time. 4th gear (red) made some power. i wasn't expecting more than 210-220whp.i would have run 17psi, but i hit fuel cut at 5500rpm. would have been a waste of a run (and potential mess under the car... 1700+ degrees) so i dropped it to 10psi.

hopefully, with a 255 HP pump, AFPR, and an AFC, i can squeeze 280whp+ out of the 14b at 17psi with the sidemount (for now). i'll probably need at least 550's by then.

PS- you shoudl be able to knock out 280whp on stock 450's pretty easily (pump to) OMG

that's 266whp and 246tq. had i pushed 17psi, i am certain my tq numbers would approach 270-280ft.lbs. once i can TUNE my car, i'll make the power sooner, and hold it to redline. you can see once my A/F goes over 13:1, my numbers die off and i shut it down.
 
I wouldn't be doing too much WOT driving until you get some fuel mods. You should at least get some C16 in there. Those are good numbers but a 13.9 A/F ratio on pump gas is suicide. It will die soon if you keep it up.
 
I'll second Mike on that one, those injectors are not nearly big enough for you. Please at least get 550's, before that car blows up.

Great numbers though!

well like i said, stock fuel system. i don't let the car touch 5500rpm on the street. my 255 is sitting on my lap right now, my afpr gets here this week, and i'm waiting for extremepsi to get some black faced AFC IIs in stock. 450cc's should be enough until i get a front mount.

Have you looked at your dyno chart? It's pretty obvious that they are not good enough.

that is more the stock fuel pump on stock wiring, not stock injectors. a fellow SFDSM spyder owner routinely puts down 260+whp with an evoIII16g, FMIC, 190lph, AFC and 450cc's... with a nice flat 11.5:1 fuel curve to redline.
 
i have stock fuel system in my car except for the s-afc and i ran up to 20 psi on the dyno with the stock fuel and my curve is just about fine. i am actually still leaning out the afc.

I have been wanting to meet up with you guys but I never made
