Does anyone know where I can find a 2g install kit for my new 16G turbo for a good price. I just ordered one from some a$$hole, and he ended up ripping me off. :thumbdown so if anyone has one or knows where to get a new one for a good price. let me know. thanks.

I got my 16g install kit from road race, you can get the kit for $195.

A lot of places sell different kits with different things in them. A friend or mine ordered the install kid from Diamond Star Motorsports and he paid $275 for it but it comes with all new oil lines j pipe all new gaskets and some other things as well. So basically you have to figure out what all you need and find a kit that has that stuff.

i was also wondering this... what place has all the parts you NEED? not nice but don't need like the New stainless steel Manifold Gasket... i don't need that. What kits come what the barebones of what i need? but still have it all

if you wanna be cheap dont buy a "kit." Read the vfaq and go to RRE and look at their tweaker kit. You dont "need" all of the tweaker kit. Here is what I used and my setup at the time:

stock ic piping
16g

Install "kit":

used stock 1g jpipe
RRE ss oil feed line from filter housing
filed down stock oil return tube
gasket for return tube(they seem to fall apart when you take them off, its cheap and a pretty good idea to get new ones, I bought 4 last time at satan just in case).
Switch your water lines around to make them fit.

good idea: port out the turbo, get a 7cm gasket, port o2 housing, get a bigger downpipe gasket, get a new turbo bolt to replace stud(im lazy and havent done that yet)

To install a 16g u will need

T25 water lines

Reuse the oil return slot the holes

You need a J pipe

10" piece of 2" exhaust tube

You need the 14b oil feed to do the next step I did

Oil Feed I used a 1/8 NPT fitting to 1/4" high pressure hose and onto the 14b oil feed just cut the banjo fitting off.

I used to hose clamps to secure the line from the block fitting onto the stock feed line.

so now you have a turbo with the oil feed and return ready you need to fab up 2 rubber water lines to connect the stock t25 water hard lines to the block hard lines 3/8 fuel hose is what I used route the hoses to clear the intake when installed.

Lowe IC pipe take it and cut it between the two bends so you have 2 90* pieces you will end up using the bottom 90* as the top now and vice versa.

Insert your exhaust tube in and tichten the clamps should be a perfect fit now.

Now all thats left is to hook up the DP and you are golden!

You still need to block off the factory t25t oil feed I used a -4 an fitting and then stepped it to a 1/8 pipe and used a 1/8 pipe plug. Done

Total cost was 20$ canadian to install mine.

bigjangin is not a moron , douche. the things he described are EXACTLY what you need to install a 16g. and if you got off your lazy ass and searched vendor website's you'd know which one to get

for OTHER people wondering, I used the SBR 2g install kit but had to purchase a 1g oil feed line [ it's not aluminum like the stock POS one ] .. the kit came with essentially everything I need to install plus gaskets.

RRE i believe has the same stuff except it actually comes with an oil return line

SBR kit is the RRE hacker tweeker kit. they must just buy them from RRE and resell em. i used the RRE kit and it made my life much easier than piecing the parts together. more power to the peolple that do, i just wanted everything complete and new. however, if the SBR kit does not come with a new oil supply line, then i would go with the RRE kit.

you dont need kit , their so over priced. Get a J-pipe and a SS oil line.
J-pipe = 30.00
oil line = 30-40.00

p.s
since you saved all that money not buying a kit invest in injectors, FP and SAFC :thumb:

if you have no lines at all i guess. I would still either go to partz to get OEM or just get SS line. Just my 2 cents good luck

Oops, sorry! I did a search and just finished the install so I thought I'd give some pointers. ROFL
