Well i got my denso Vr4 fuel pump installed earlier today and before this i rewired the pump becuase i had my old stock fuel pump power line rigged to a volt meter and at WOT at 5000+ rpms my voltage to the fuelpump read 11.9 12 volts... So after the New fuel pump install and the 10gauge wire it reads between 13.8 13.9 14 volts which is better. Well The 3000gt vr4 fuel pump is rated at 180LPH at 12V... and i have it rewired getting more voltage..... What i have noticed is when i drive normally around town my Air fuel gauge instead of bouncing back and fourth in the STOICH orange section it stays burried In the RICH Green section. This is just normal driving too, It only bounces of the stoich like normal when it is at idle... Also my base fuel pressure was at 42-43 psi and now it is at 51-52psi.... WILL these new changes hurt my motor in any way?? i dont have injectors or an SAFC yet to lean out in the lower rpms. So i think im pig rich  oh im runnning 16-17 psi the car pulls great and doesnt smoke or backfire. ANY INSIGHT????????:

do you have an FPR?

Like Chaye said, get an AFPR ( NOT the B&M unit, which is a fuel pressure riser ) and disconnect the vacuum source to the FPR. Then set it at 42-43psi. Connect the vacuum line and go driving. Buscur makes a bolt on AFPR which is very nice. Yeah its expensive, do you want your car to run right? ;)
