Im lookin for a bypass valve thats able to handle atleast 18psi at the most without leaking. im running a 1g bov at the moment and its done its duty, but im tired of hitting 18psi and then dropping to 16. i dont wanna bother having it crushed i rather go aftermarket. i am also recirculating back into the intake so no atmosphere bov's. any opinions and suggestions would help thanks

the 1g should be able to hold 18psi no problem. Maybe try a freinds and see if its just yours. I know my 1g will hold 20, and my crushed 1g held 24.

That shows you what people are running.

15-20lbs my choice would be...
1g BOV - You don't want one.
Greddy Type S - Good bov and sounds awsome
HKS SSQ BOV - Sounds great but recirculated I've never heard it :(
TIAL - Never heard it but have heard rumors of it being great till 30lbs?

Basically it boils down to your choice.
Goodluck.

well i have 3 1g bovs at my house and one on my car and ive pressure tested my car with all of them and they all leak at 20-22 Psi. So if you are going back down to 16 you should check for boost leaks i guarantee you have one. Everytime ive checked my car i find one more LOL. Oh and the HKS bov doesnt recirculate so unless you have the VPC or other way to get around that then expect little black clouds of rich smoke in between shifts :p:D

1g untill you wanna go more then 20psi then Tial, thats my opinion.

wops, i forgot that tial is vent. Honestly i would just use a 1g one ALL stock mas setups, crush it or something to handle more the 20psi. and for maft or map use tial, you could prolly just vent the 1g for these setups also unless your gonna be making like way more then 20psi.

you can get the recirculating kit for it.

For stock MAS setup I would recommend HKS SSQV w/ recirc kit.

For MAFT blow through set up I'd say Tial.
