Polishing FMIC

Hey you guys with FMIC's , did you get yours polished when you ordered it? I see slowboy wants an extra 300$ for Polishing theirs, and if and when I would be able to buy one from them , I'm not sure I want to pay that much just for polishing one, unless theres some sort of performance gain from it, which I doubt very much.

that 300 includes polishing all the piping and the FMIC...no performance gain, but it looks good....

AGP's is polished...for my new car anyway..you cant really tell from the pic, but Kevin and Ben did an awesome job, thanks guys!

Was it really not good enough or did you just want something new. I heard that the stock ones weren't too bad. Yours definattely looks good. I wish they came AWD.

ive seen and used agp 2g fmic, and ams 2g fmic both are polished and both of them are the best 2g fmics out there right now.


prostreet has a realy nice one also and there's are polished

Not even close. Doesnt that core still use the stock style routing? Best is subjective but the 216 core is one of the better cores out there. The Skyline core that Doug Derby sells works very nicely but fits a million times easier than the Spearco core.

Dude dont spend that $300 for some bling man, I mean the BLING is A MUST because it looks sooooo much nicer. But you can actually polish that thing yourself! About $20 bucks of sand paper and a sore ass arm but it beats spending $300 to do it, I made a article on how I did mine in the Article section. If you want to check it out or just click here....Also I wouldnt recommend the Greddy 24R. For the same price those things run you can get the SBR or a Hahn Race Craft which I have and had no issues with for like i said around the same price and which looks to be a better piece IMO. stock unit isnt that bad. Steven Anderson (500+ SRT) made an extra 53hp at the wheels with AGP's fmic. on a basicly stock turbo'd car you looking at 20hp at the wheels.

Thanks for the compliments bro! Id just hate to see you pay $300 for polishing when it can cost you $20 bucks, about 5-6 hours of your time, and not feeling your arm/hand for about a day or two! HeHe...it will be totally worth it when your done....

P.S. What from Chicago are you from?? Im in the suburbs

$700 for 30whp ...is a good go-fast investment. i plan goin GT30 or 60-1 in the near future.
