Are these ball bearing turbos? Whats better about the "GT" wheel? I was on their site and it didn't really give many details. I might be able to get a gt35 for a good price in the next few hours from a friend but I don't know enough about it to decide yet. Anyone have experience with this?

I asm sure you are aware that the gt35 is a huge turbo. It will be a standard bushing type turbo most likely as the bb version are designated GT35 R (at lest that is how garrett does it). If you are serious about the line in your sig then you can think about this unit. To getn the most out of something like this I think the "bolt-on" dsm housing would be undersized but I am not sure that is what you are talking about. Garrett basically calls all of there newer designsd "gt" becasue the compressor/turbine wheels are supposed to be loads more efficient. It would eb laggy for a 2.0 (full spool around 5500 in the evo camp) but that would be far more livable with a little more displacement. If you have the rest of ther stuff the huffer should be good to low tens-high 9s dependi on weight/driving.

well I ended up passing up on this turbo for now and going with the PTE SC61. Why didn't I get the SCM? The sc is $100 or so cheaper ( I'm getting it at cost ) and I'm having an equal length manifold made so I will just make sure that's flanged right. The outlet pipe will cost me like $40 max to make and flange so it bolts up with the stock downpipe. I got rid of AC so I have no AC fan. The new manifold is spacing the turbo out father away from the motor, so nothing would bolt up anyway. This is also a crazy turbo, and although its not ball bearing I think it will provide more than enough power. It was also $100 cheaper for me than the GT35... Thanks.
