Turbine size... I want some opinions though I have read other threads.

From what I read so far the I have decided to order my T3/T4 50 trim from AGP turbo but I have run into a snag on what I want the turbine housing to be. Here is what is available:

Available turbine housings - .48, .63, .82, 1.06 A/R ratios.

From what I read most people either do the .48 or the .63. It seems that a lot of people choose the .63 because it has slightly more lag. Since I am running a GST I would want slightly more lag?

Well my goals is a car that runs constant 12s. And I am not quite sure which turbine housing to get. I am leaning toward faster spools with the .48. But what is the difference between horse power and such?

From the lag it seems the .48 spools full by 3600 and the .63 by 4000 rpm. I also drive this car daily. So with that in consideration is it better to get the .63?

The .48 A/R housing is good enough for mid 400whp and 11s. Both have been done with the 50 trim kit in a .48.

Here's one way to look at it. You can always start with the .48 and work your way into the larger housing.
