First of all I have a Turbo XS MBC. I turned up my boost yesterday and when I did my MBC leaks. The more I turn it up the worse it gets. It holds the boost fine but the vacume leak is very irritating. On the boost controller there are 2 orings. The top is for looks and the bottom one covers a hole (that's supposed to be there). The oring looks to be in good shape to me and I don't think that a new one will stop the leak either. If I turn the MBC all the way down it stops. Is it supposed to do that or is it broke. Does anyone know what that hole is for to begin with. Thanks:confused:

The vent hole is there for a reason. If it was not there, the pressure in the vac-line between the valve and the WG would continue to increase once the set limit had been reached. This vent hole allows the pressure to bleed off, and the MBC maintaint relatively constant pressure.

So is it supposed sound like a serious vacume leak when the boost is turned up. I can hear it inside the car an when i open the hood that's all you can hear is it leaking or bleeding off pressure. Does anyone else have this problem because I'm starting to think it's my boost controller. A small leaking sound I can deal wiyh but this is terrible if it's supposed to do this than I guess i'm getting a new one anyway. What kind of MBC do ya'll recomend.
