aside from the fact i should have just bought a GSX ensted of a RS, what would be involved in converting a FWD to a AWD and bout how much $ would it take.

I bought this car for $500 and plan to put about 4k into it.
 
well if its a 1g turbo fwd. road race engineering did some back in the day and it only cost them around $5000.

if its a 2g nt rs. then it'll probably be a little more. you do have the suspension points and stuff you'd need, but you'll still need the entire engine, tranny, rear end, and everything in between that has anything to do with those parts.

not impossible, just not cost efficient.
