Edmonton,
First off I would like to say I am sick of Exhaust topics so I didnt really want to write this but...........

I knew what I was going to do with my Exhaust. I call up the Calgary place on Thermal's web site and the guy says 950 CND dollars! Thats around 630 US. I am not going to pay that for any cat-back.

So I have two questions here:

1. Where is the cheapest place to order a Theremal R&D catback system from?! Around 500 US.

RNR Racing's turbo-back system is an insanely sweet price and I was just going to go with their O2 elim downpipe but I just might get the whole damn turbo-back.

2. What are the performance and sound differances and downfalls of the RNR Racing CAT-BACK compared to Thermals?

I haveto buy this junk in a matter on days. So please reply. Thanks.

rollhard performance....juss search for them via/ google...i forgot their site address...it's around 520 i believe USD....take it easy

make your own, its two 90 deg mandrel bends, i made mine works pretty damn good, you can get 3in mandrel bends at a truck stop but get aluminized and are about 25 bucks and youll need a ten foot section of 3in tubing and all the appropriate flanges and hadrware. totaly cost was about 200 with muffler for mine

if you dont have a mig welder, go to a midas and see if they can do it

Ok, 525 for the cat-back at rollhard, I'm FWD so I guess its 5 dollars more  . Not bad at all. Any better?

I would make my own but I would feel more comfortable having it done by people that will do it right. Soft bends, smooth welds and such.

Anyone with RNR stuff?

Yeah, it's not quite Thermal quality, but I have no problems with it so far. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably shell out the extra $150 or so for full stainless.

There is a bit of a performance gain, but my "butt dyno" is the worst in the world, so I can't tell you for sure. Hopefully soon I can dyno this thing for real. I felt a little more performance gain later from the UICP and new BOV than from the exhaust, but supposedly I gained more HP from the new exhaust-- Ryan at RnR said to expect 25-30 more HP out of the this exhaust vs. the stock one. Sounds a little optimistic to me, but he knows more about it than I do.

sometimes i wish dsms cost 30K. so kids would stop buying them and then piss and moan about the mod cost.

35hp, I would think more but I guess thats the way the cookie crumbles. jdmawd, I am not sure what you mean by that but I am just trying to get the best cost performace ratio. I am leaning to the thermal for the cat-back part still a little, and seeing how I dont have any time to decide anymore I guess thats how its going to look. The only thing that pisses me off is the neck down that has to be cut off and replaced.
