Burned Plugs?

Last week my engine was having some problems (detailed here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10082). I had it towed to my friend's shop because the car wouldnt stay on during idle. He ran the scanner and it came up misfire 2 and 3. Under further inspection both of my 2 and 3 plugs had the electrodes completely burned off, with some of the porcelan being burned too. Does anyone have a guess as to why this happened?

The only thing I could think of that would possibly cause this is water, but I'm not sure.

Any advice would be appreciated! Would like to avoid this again... hehe

You said yourself it ran dead lean...that your problem. You run to lean you burn and melt things, your lucky it wasnt your piston or something. I didnt read the other post, but maybe you have some sort of fuel delivery problem and are burning up a few cylinders...
