wich wires should I buy?

According to you, these motors are the same as the Evo motors, and SR20 motors, why not just get some cheap wires for an SR20?

I wouldn't get used magnecores. Plug wires are plug wires, except Nology which sucks more than the rest. Other than that, its all about quality of contruction, and how long they last. NGK makes a nice cheap set of plug wires. RRE carries them for around $45. It doesn't make sense to buy a set of used Magnecore wires (which have a rep for having problems) in unknown condition off ebay, when just a few bucks more gets you a new set that isn't known to have problems like the brand of the used ones you want to get.

I wanted to buy those 10.2mm off of ebay too but I wasn't sure about the quality. Does anybody have them? This is the only wire I've seen that is this big of a size for DSMs.

I am going to start another thread in reguards to that comment. Please dont take it to literally, but if you wanna be a dick about it, well then, do. There are alot of alikeness in all three motors, and you would have to be blind to deny that. What ever floats your boat thjough E-bullies.

Anyways, on the wire question: the factory stuff lasts 50K. Any "premium" wires from any shop will do just fine. No need to get bent around a brand name. And building your own for a tenth the cost with raw wire from a speed shop is viable, too.

Tenth of a cost huh? You sure you not thinkin of ground wires? I was mainly fishin for info on the "JDM Wires" with this thread to see if any one has tried them. They are the cheapest and the thickest so maybe they are good.

Personally I doubt anyone has used them, if you want to try them out and test them against a set of ,Accel, NGK, or Magnecores that would be good. My opinion is that you should stick to what works.

Kragen has a lifetime warranty on their "Nascar" line of wires. They're made by bosch and are of decent quality. Just bring them in and they'll replace em..no questions asked.

I'd just go to PepKragenZoneAutoNAPA and get the upgraded set from the catalog. The lifetime Kragen deal sounds pretty good.
And yea, a self-made set shouldn't come in at $15 for materials.

Those "JDM" things, beyond the first strike of having a "JDM" associated with them, also have a big red R on the package. Strike two.

And I only allow one.
