hey, i have a 92 tsi, i havent checked to see if i have eprom or not, but if i do, i am definitly going to get a TMO CHIP, but if i get a set of cams, will this help make the car run better, than having the stock computer?, also if i dont have Eprom, wat can i do to make the cars computer tell it that i am running bigger cams???

hopefully someone can help me out, and for those who do, greatly appreciate it

You don't need anything telling the ecu that there are cams
installed in the car. The increassed amount of airflow from
the cams will go through the mass air sensor first which will
compensate by itself. Before you install cams, I would suggest
you install a turbo back exhaust, bigger injectors, fuel pump,
and either a 2g mass or hack the one you have.
the TMO chips don't really add any power they just eliminate
some of the restrictions that are programed from the factory.

P.S. just incase you didn't know TMO is no longer selling chips
as far as I know.
