Need 2g MAF adapter on 1g?

I just bought a dejon tool intake for my 1g, that is fit for a 2g maf.. it's being shipped right now. I have a 2g maf and filter sitting here already, but I noticed that there are adapters for it online. Is this something I am going to need in order to hook up my intake and 2g maf?

The Dejon intake should come with all the couplers and clamps. I take it you already have the 2g MAF plug as well? If not, you need that plug so you can splice the wires from the 1g harness.
