Alright I've got my car apart to port the exhman, turbo and o2. The A/C is bad so I want to tear everything out, anyone have a good vfaq on it? I just bought a digicam and will put it to good use... but another guide would be helpful.

Don't remove the AC compressor bracket. The bolts are used to support bearings within the block (I think it's actually just the bottom right-hand bolt, but check on that).

I don't think there's much need for a VFAQ, just start by removing the compressor, then follow the lines and remove everything that's attached.

Ok, i de-pressurized everything via this valve.

I go to unhook the two lower lines from the condensor and this semi-thick nasty smelling clear liquid started coming out... the A/C hasn't been used in a long time, any ideas? i thought freon was a gas.

Thanks,
Blake
