Toronto,
Hi guys,
I'm seeking some opinions. I have a 93 TSi AWD, which means my engine is 7bolt. I know they are not as prone to crankwalk as the 2G 7bolt, but is it still worth being rebuilt? I'm not talking building a super race engine, but simply a stock rebuild with maybe aftermarket cams at the most. I'm going with a 16G, 16psi max and supra SMIC. So, my question is, rebuild the 7 bolt, or swap it out for a 6 bolt? Thanks.

if there are no signs of crankwalk on it yet don't worry about it. Just rebuild it and have fun with it. Don't live in fear of something that can happen to ANY car.
